When Target teams up with designers, it is like all my dreams have been answered. Affordable fashion designed by one of the most amazing designers there is? Is this real? Am I asleep? So naturally when I heard that Prabal Gurung had a collection coming out for Target, I thought I was daydreaming. Some of his less affordable pieces that I love have wonderful patterns and thoughtful shapes. The way he uses bright colors and patterns with traditional shapes such as a dress pant or a peplum is amazing.
After much time awaiting the collection, it doesn't disappoint. Ruffles, floral patterns, bright colors, classic shapes and versatile pieces are just the beginning of Prabal created. One of my favorite aspects is that Target has paired items together so you can shop a complete outfit.
Isn't this amazing? I can't wait to see what the fabrics are like in person. That red dress would be the perfect Valentine's outfit! Are you going to buy any of the pieces? I think all of the above are on my list! Do you have a designer you would like to see create an affordable collection? I think I would love a Rebecca Minkoff collection for Target...A girl can dream?!
I was soo excited for this collection! Definitely picked up that sleeveless blouse and some lime sandals!

I would LOVE to see Christiam Louboutin create a cute line of pumps so us middle-income fashionistas can enjoy some sexy stilettos! The Rebecca Minkoff idea is great too! I love everything she designs.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited for Prabal Gurung for Target! After the Jason Wu collaboration was poached to death by eBay re-sellers I was worried I wouldn't get anything, but I was able to get every piece I was lusting after this time around!
